7-11 Ham and Bacon Sandwich

7-11 is a place were you can definitely find a lot of food items for satisfy the munchies. Chips, Candies, Pastries and Sandwiches are just some the things you can find in a 7-11. Aside from the commercial selection, they have their brand of food items, from their Hotdogs and Siopao, to their Rice Meals. Mimi stumbled upon their sandwiches and wanted to give it a try. 

Up for review: Ham & Bacon Sandwich.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I thought it was gonna be meaty and cheesy, I was wrong. The Sandwich tasted more like greens and veggies rather than what the packaging says. I found little hints of Ham and Bacon, and I was disappointed. Not gonna eat this again.

She Says: I actually liked it. It was just the right amount of meat and veggies. I would buy this again if I had a really short break time.

711 Hotdogs: Bacon Cheese and Chicken Cheese and The Big Gulp

Looking for a quick stop and suppress the munchies? 711 has some of the best food bites that could keep your hungry self munching for a while. Not only are they cheap, they pack quite a mean punch. If you're on the go, you definitely have to try the 711 Hotdogs with their Big Gulp.

THE VERDICT

He Says: 711 is one of my favorite convenience stores. They've good a lot of stuff and their cheap. I'm a fan of their Hotdogs too. The Bacon Cheese is really really good. If I have a short burst of hunger, I'd definite go for this Hotdog. The Chicken Cheese is good too. I have yet to try the others, but by far, their Hotdogs are impressive. The Big Gulp is definitely BIG. It's value for your money too. If you're really thirsty, gotta have these.

She Says: If you're hungry and on a budget or running short on time, head on out to the closest 7-11 near you. Me and Gab have been a fan of their hotdogs for a while now. Food and drinks are affordable especially for students with dwindling budgets.

Toffee Slurpee & Mine Shine Milk Tea

7-11 is often the best place to go to buy snacks and little foodstuff you need to satisfy your thirst and hunger. Things there are fairly priced to cater to all classes of the population. 7-11 is famous for it's Slurpees and on the go food, such as donuts, hotdogs and rice meals. Today's review, Mine Shine Milk Tea and the Toffee Slurpee.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I like Slurpees. I have particular favorites, but the Toffee isn't going to be one of them. It's okay to drink, but it won't quench your thirst. The flavor is a mix of coffee and the fizz of coke. Not really the type to get me to buy it again. Moving on, the Milk Tea isn't my personal favorite. It tastes like water. That's the end of that. Haha.

Rating: Toffee Slurpee = 6/10; Mine Shine = 3/10

She Says: Slurpees are good when you need something really cold to cool you down and if you need something to quench your thirst. This particular flavor only did one of those two and that was to cool you down. It's a mix of coffe with the fizz of coke. Mine Shine is what I buy to satisfy my milk tea cravings a couple of years ago but now that i've found Zen Tea and Tea Central i've realized that it ain't that good anymore.

Rating: Toffee Slurpee = 5/10; Mine Shine = 4/10

7-11 Ice Cream!

Little did we know, 7-11 had Ice Cream. The one near her place sold soft-serve Ice Cream. It came in three flavors: the usual Vanilla, Chocolate and the mix of both. It's pretty cheap. But how does the taste go?  Read it and you'll find out.

THE VERDICT

He Says: The Ice Cream is more like Frozen Milk. Nothing special, but at least it isn't bland. And hey, it's clean. The serving size is good enough to tame your Ice Cream craving. It wouldn't be your first option, though. Not bad at 15PHP.

Rating: 7/10

She Says: It tasted like milk. It's a little softer that the usual soft serve. It's good if you want something sweet after you meal. It's serving size is pretty big and it's good to have when you're on a tight budget.
