Inengs BBQ: Market Market

A couple of months ago I found out that Gab has NEVER tried Inengs Barbecue!! So I took him to the branch that was easy to get to, the one in Market Market.

After one of the parties I hosted for club princess we headed straight to the food court to give him a taste of one of the best barbecues i've EVER had.

The store

The Barbecue's. in 6 inch and 12 inch sticks :)

Love and our tower of iced tea.
(*we got the tower of iced tea from some other store. not bad for 60PHP)

The Verdict

He Says: Can someone say Ultimate Fan? Haha. Wow. This BBQ is by far the best I've eaten. The sauce is grilled into the BBQ itself and the taste just explodes the flavor of it in each bite. I could chow down a lot if I could, and I'd like to franchise it to the Taft Area. Haha. I'd really really like to have this place very accessible so I can have as much as I can. Simply, the best!

She Says: BEST BARBECUE EVER! It's the tastiest meatiest one around the metro! Even the fat of the barbecue's so tasty you'd eat it as well! I'm not surprised that there's always such a long line in front of all their store. They even have another store a couple of meters away from this one made exclusively for take out!

Mini Donuts: Market Market

When you're on the prowl of something to eat, normally you'd like something quick. Mini Donuts are a great to temporarily satisfy your hunger and keep your wallet safe from the expenses. There used to be a Mini Donuts stand in school, but that closed down. So the closest we could find Mini Donuts was in Market! Market!

Their machine.

The actual donuts.

The best.

PRICE and FLAVORS

THE VERDICT

He Says: I'm not a big fan, but when I get hungry Mini Donuts are enough to suppress it a like. There're many flavors to choose from and it's pretty cheap for something good. Cheese and Cookies and Cream are my favorites. The downside, the donuts can get a little oily and the taste feels a little rancid after a while. The cheese can feel a little to salty and the cookies and cream feel plain.

Rating: 7/10

She Says: When I was younger I absolutely loved mini donuts! I'd always get a pack of these whenever we'd head to the mall. I'd always get it in strawberry or in mocha. Between the age or 6 to 11 i'd ALWAYS get my mini donuts one way or another. I used to enjoy them so much when I was a kid, maybe things are different now. Maybe i've had far too many donuts that tasted better than this or I set my standards up too high.(The sugar that they put tasted more like plain sugar rather than the actuall strawberry flavor that I was expecting) But in any case i'd still come back for these donuts even if they don't really satisfy my taste buds because it's cheap and it's fun to watch the donuts come out of the machine Weeeeeeee! :D

Jian Kang Noodles: Market Market

Usually, Market! Market! is a good place to be when you're clueless as to where you wanna go. There's lots to see and do, and one good thing there, is that there are numerous food stalls and places. One particular stall Love likes going to is the Jian Kang Noodles. It's Hong Kong style noodles for a cheap price. I've gotten into it as well.

Their stall.

Noodles with Quail Eggs

Noodle sauce to choose from.

PRICE: 25PHP

Jian Kang is located on the second floor of Market Market right in front of KFC.

THE VERDICT

He Says: Their noodles are good. Its cheap and it fills you up. The lines can get long though and at times they run out of Siomai, but minus that it's a good place eat when you're hungry.

Rating: 9.5/10

She Says: Their noodles are awesome! as compared to other stalls selling noodles Jian Kang Noodles are mostly noodles! I've had a try of the other stalls and my opinion is that they're pricier but you get less noodles and more toge (mongo seedlings) or shredded cabbage. Another thing I like about this stall is the variety of sauces they have! From Hoisin to Spicy Beef to Seafood. These are just some of the sauces you'd see if you gave their noodles a try.
