Krispy Kreme Parking Ticket

In Pampanga, Malls don't have parking fees. Parking attendants give you tickets that you surrender when you leave the premises of the mall. Marquee Mall in Angeles City gives out electronic cards that keep the plate number of the corresponding car. Not only does it have function, it also has promos with a few establishments in the Mall. This one was for Krispy Kreme. If you buy a Doughnut, you get a free 8.oz size coffee.

This is a really cool idea.

North Park: Lechon Macau, Fresh Prawn Dumpling, Fresh Lemonade & Pink Lemonade

We were in Marquee Mall with Gab's friend, Ralph, and we decided to have a little chit-chat and downtime over some lunch. We had no clue where to eat, and since Gab has not tried it yet, we decided to head over to North Park. North Park serves traditional Chinese Fastfood, Rice, Noodles and soups. They've been around for a while, competing with the likes of Super Bowl, Mann Hann and David's Tea House.

Up for review: Lechon Macau, Fresh Prawn Dumpling, Fresh Lemonade and Pink Lemonade.

Fresh Prawn Dumpling.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I loved the Lechon Macau. It's Crispy Lechon Liempo with some really good Fried Rice. It's not salty or oily. It's cooked right and tastes really good. I'm definitely going back for this. The Fresh Prawn Dumpling is your typical noodle dish. Packed with noodles, a dumpling and soup. The dumpling is good, but the serving size isn't my thing. I won't be satisfied by it's size, but the taste is worth it. The Fresh Lemonade, is what I believe, to be very LEGIT Juice. Made from Freshly-Squeezed Lemons, it's really tangy and fruity. The Pink Lemonade packs a mean...well...punch. Not bad.

Rating: Lechon Macau = 10/10; Fresh Prawn Dumpling = 8/10; Lemonade = 10/10; Pink Lemonade = 9/10

She Says: I love dumplings! Serving size was good enough for me, I actually couldn't finish everything :)) The Lechon was super tasty! Mouthwatering! They also have really good lemonade more sour than sweet while the pink lemonade was more sweet than sour.

Turk's Shawarma

Recently, we have found the best place for really good Shawarma. They don't have a big stall, nor are they pricey with their product. Turk's Shawarma is one of the best places you can get for some good quality Shawarma. There's no frills, nothing special, just plain good ol'Shawarma.

Meat and Cheese

THE VERDICT

He Says: Wow. This was a surprise. The first time I tried it, the flavors blew me away. It was really really good! It's juicy meat with really really good cheese. It's the kind of cheese that makes you wanna go back for more. It's a new favorite.

Rating: 10/10

She Says: Best shawarma we've had to date. It's affordable and it's quite heavy on the stomach too. I can have one of these for lunch and i'm good :)

Chingu Buko House: Buko Shake

After having some good Shawarma, it was time to wash down the food with a really good beverage. We came across this little Buko Stand nearby called Chingu Buko House and decided to try out their products. Mimi wanted some Buko Juice, but ended up trying the Buko Shake instead. It's supposed to be a frothy and thicker version of the Buko Juice. It comes in three sizes and can be purchased in a bottle or in a paper cup.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I'm not big on Buko Juice. I don't drink it a lot, nor do I go around looking for it. I'll make an exception to this one. THIS is something I'd keep coming back for. For someone who does not like Buko Juice, this drink doesn't taste anything like it. It's more creamy and milky. You barely taste the Buko in it, yet you know it's there. It's really really good, and I want to keep going back for this drink. Cools you down, and keeps you satisfied.

Rating: 10/10

She Says: I've always liked Buko juice more than water and i've been trying to get Gab to like it and i'm really glad we got to try the buko shake because it's really good. You wouldn't know it's buko if it was placed in another container. It was really milky and sweet but at the same time VERY REFRESHING.
