Tea Central: Fish Strips and Chicken Strips

Tea Central has been a place for well-known Milk Tea drinks. Cookie Dough, Pistachio, Cookies and Cream just to name a few, but little do most people know, they have finger food. They have Fried Fish and Fried Chicken Fingers to help you munch while having a your favorite Milk Tea Drink.

THE VERDICT

He Says: WOW. This was a surprise. At first, I was a little cautious trying this out, but when I bought a batch for myself to eat, man. IT WAS GOOD. SUPER GOOD. It comes in different flavors, Green Tea, Wasabi and Seaweed. I've tried the Seaweed, and I must say it's very good. A little spicy, but good enough. The spice gives the flavor. Not bad for its price.

Rating: 10/10

She Says: I prefer the fish over the chicken. I like how it's deep friend and not oily when you bite into it. It's crunchy and the fish is super soft. Just the way I like it :) The seaweed seasoning was a little spicy (take note, I hate spicy food) but this is an exception. Also, they give you a generous serving so I believe that it's good enough for one meal :) Try it yourself :)

THE VERDICT

He Says: Okay. Officially. My. New. Milk. Tea. Place. Tea Central never fails to impress! Their Cookie Dough and Dark Chocolate is the BEST!!! Wow. All I can say is WOW! The flavor really explodes in your mouth. The Chocolatey-Sweet Taste hides the real flavor of Milk Tea. Simply AWESOME!

Rating: Cookie Dough = 10/10; Dark Chocolate = 10/10

She Says: We come back here every week or every other day. It really depends on our craving. The cookie dough flavor is distinct but not super strong enough to overpower the milk tea taste. Also, their dark chocolate is nothing less than awesome! I swear! When you're looking for a place to chill, you guys should definitely drop by! :)

Hazelnut Milk Tea: Tea Central

Recently, Milk Tea has been all the rage in the Taft Area. Establishments such as ZenTea, Tea D'Lites and Simple Line have made a name for good Milk Tea. A newcomer has come into the Taft Scene, Tea Central. The place is located above Starbucks and has a few surprises for certified Milk Tea-haulics.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I guess this day was a day of firsts. Love and I had come from Alex III and tried a few dishes there. It wasn't bad, it was actually good. My thoughts on Tea Central? I thought it was going to be crushed by ZenTea. I thought wrong. I tried their Hazelnut Milk Tea and it was good. Really good. It may be a little pricey, but it was worth the money. They have other stuff on their menu I'd like to try, so I'd definitely go back to this place.

Rating:  10/10

She Says: I don't know if it's their really cute logo or the fact that it was something new but one of the two was what probably led us to trying the new place.  We were SUPER FULL from Alex III I don't know where we found the space for milk tea. Some might say it's just another milk tea place but Tea Central offers drinks that you may not find anywhere else at the moment (ex. Their Yakult Series). It's a little expensive for someone on a student's budget but it won't hurt to try every once in a while ;)
