Johnny Rockets: Smoke House Single, Bacon Cheddar Single, Vanilla Milkshake and Lemonade

When you've got a craving for that LEGIT ALL-AMERICAN Burger and you've got cash to blow, Johnny Rockets is definitely the place to go. We checked out the branch in Robinsons Galleria, 'cause Mimi just got her salary from working at Summer Camp and she wanted to buy us some dinner. Here we go with our review of the Johnny Rocket's: Smoke House Single, Bacon Cheddar Single, Vanilla Milkshake and Lemonade.

THE VERDICT

He Says: I'm at a lost for words. I stopped cursing and swearing that night. I couldn't help it. Their Burgers are just SO juicy. It's not your typical Burger, Juicy and not oily. It's big and it packs a punch. It was SO GOOD, I ended up getting some sauce on my shirt. Haha. The Fries were the best. Close to BKs, I'd go nuts for the Fries. The Milkshake, was the best I've had so far. It's thick and really good, just the way I like it. The Lemonade was sour and sweet at the same time, plus it's bottomless. We're definitely going back.

She Says: I think he said everything that needed to be said. It had a good vibe. The staff was very accommodating and was very happy to serve us! We'd definitely go back there. When I searched they only had two branches, one was in Rockwell and the other in Robinson's Galleria.

Rufo's Famous Tapa: Delivery

Rufo's did not fail to impress us the first time we tried it. It was AWESOME. One night, we felt the craving for Rufo's Tapa, so...We had some Rufo's stuff delivered over.

THE VERDICT

He Says: Again. Never fails. Rufo's Famous Burger is GOOOOD. It's made of their famous tapa and house in burger buns. Same great taste, but it can get a little messy to eat. The Liempo was good too. A little bony, but the taste is one of the best I've had. Their T-Bone Steak was surprising. At 144PHP, you would think that the serving size would be a little small. I was wrong. It was pretty big and the taste, remarkable! It's really good.

Rating: Famous Burger = 9.5/10; T-Bone Steak = 10/10; Liempo = 9/10

She Says: Rufo's is a must try! Their burger was something we wanted to try during our last visit. It is scrumptious and tasty! It's a little messy to eat though. T steak is cheap but it will quickly satisfy your steak craving. The liempo was tasty, i'd order it again if I was given the chance :)

Brothers Burger: Paseo de Magallanes

Love and I were along Paseo de Magallanes just walking. Initially, we were only supposed to go to the grocery, but I got hungry and it got close to dinner anyway. We were walking along, 'till we stopped at Brother's Burgers.

THE VERDICT

He Says: Brother's Burgers ain't half-bad. It's not something I'd go back to often. Their best burgers has got to be the lamb burger. It's tastier than the regular Brother's Burgers. The Double Burger was just okay. Nothing special, nothing bad. Its just another burger than satisfied my hunger.

Rating: 7/10

She Says: It's okay. I guess i've had better burgers that's why brother's burger isn't something i'd really crave for. It's there if you want to escape from the usual hamburger/cheeseburger from McDonalds or Jollibee.

P.S. You should try their milkshakes though! they're thick and really yummy :]

The Burger Drive: Zark's Burgers

After a long afternoon waiting for Gab to finish working on his thesis we went off to look for a place to have dinner. Then we decided to go to Zark's since we haven't eaten there in a long while :) We ordered 2 burgers and 2 bottomless iced teas.

 it was so big and oh so yummy!

She got the triple threat! Three different kinds of cheese, patty, lettuce, sauteed  onions. Gahd!

She was never able to finish it herself though :))

PRICE: 

Burgers: vary from 120PHP-500PHP (the 500PHP burger will kill you! it's called the tombstone and it has 4 patties bacon, cheese, lettuce and a mountain of fries!)

He said: The Breakfast Burger was by far, one of the best burgers I've eaten, and I must say, I've had a lot of burgers in my lifetime. It's a pretty big burger and it's very juicy. My only problem with the burger is that it crumbles and gets messy as you bite through it. Same goes for the other Zark's Burgers, but the burgers are nothing short of excellent. Plus, the price is very reasonable to the taste. A big and tasty burger at 180PHP is well worth it.

She said: The triple threat burger was oozing with cheese when it got to me and I loved it! Other cheese lovers would enjoy it too! Their burgers are really big and I never got to finish one for myself. They're not very healthy though. hahaha
